Photographic works capturing stillness, scale, and movement across landscapes, wildlife, and global cities.
Hi, it’s Matt, and I’m here to share with you my new Limited Edition Fine Art Print Collection entitled Where Time Slows. It’s a series of photographic works capturing stillness, scale, and movement across landscapes, wildlife encounters, and global cities.
This collection, available now for the next four days only, is designed to invite stillness and awareness into your everyday life through carefully crafted photographic works. Each image holds a moment shaped by patience, observation, and time spent truly being present in the world.
In other words, these works are meant to help you slow down. To create space in your home or workplace where your attention can settle, even briefly, and where the noise of daily life doesn’t dominate the room.

This series began during a period of my life when I was learning how to slow down and listen to myself again.
For a long time, I moved through the world at a pace that left very little room for feeling. Like many people, I learned how to stay busy, productive, and outwardly capable, even when something inside me was asking for rest and reflection. I knew how to keep going, how to meet expectations, how to stay in motion. What I didn’t know how to do, at that point, was stop long enough to notice what I was carrying.
Photography became the place where I could pause without explanation. It was the one space where I did not need to perform, justify, or rush. When I was behind the camera, there was no pressure to arrive at a conclusion or produce something impressive. I could simply stand still, observe what was in front of me, and respond honestly to what I saw.
At first, I did not set out to create a series. I was simply responding to moments that felt true. A quiet stretch of landscape. The stillness before movement. A sense of scale that reminded me how small, and how connected, we all are. These moments asked nothing of me except presence. They required me to slow my breathing, soften my focus, and remain open to what was already there.
Spending time in these places gradually changed how I thought about the work. It stopped feeling like something I simply captured and more like something I was being allowed to witness. That shift made it important to me that the photographs carry some form of care beyond the image itself, so a portion of each sale is directed toward conservation and community initiatives connected to the environments that made these moments possible.
Over time, I began to notice how these images held more than visual beauty. They carried emotion. Patience. Grief. Calm. Wonder. They reflected my own process of healing, not in a dramatic or defined way, but gently, through repetition and attention. Each photograph became a marker of time spent listening rather than pushing forward, of choosing awareness over distraction.

This series came to life as I realised that these moments were not meant to stay private. Healing, for me, has always been tied to connection. To the understanding that what we experience internally often resonates far beyond us. When someone stands in front of one of these images and feels a sense of quiet recognition, something unspoken but familiar, that connection is complete.
The work is not about escape or perfection. It is not about presenting an idealised version of the world. It is about noticing what is already there. About finding beauty in restraint, in waiting, in allowing a moment to unfold rather than forcing it into being. These photographs exist because I needed them, and because I believe others may need them too, even if only as a place to rest their eyes and thoughts for a moment.
Each piece in this series carries the same intention. To offer a sense of grounding. To create space for reflection. To remind us that stillness is not passive, but deeply alive. That paying attention can be an act of care, both for ourselves and for the world we move through.
I hope my new photographic series, Where Time Slows, becomes part of your space in a way that feels personal. Something you return to without thinking. Something that quietly supports you as you move through your own days, your own changes, your own healing.
This series is an invitation.
To slow down.
To notice.
To connect.
